The Hibbs family office has been developing and investing in real estate, technology companies, startups and the stock market since the late 1970’s. We are a small family office located in Seattle, Washington. We focus primarily on real estate development and technology investments. Our mission is to build a strong foundation for future generations of the Hibbs family and give back to the community through charitable contributions.
Our Real Estate Portfolio:
+ Hyve 1 is leading the way for ZERO EMISSIONS with the first green hydrogen fuel production facility in the Southwestern United States. With an advanced transportation test track, Hydrogen Research Institute, clean fuel airport, marina access and green housing development, we’re building the next generation of sustainable living in the United States.
+ Sterling Solar, Sterling Arizona, a 4,000 acre solar and power generation project in western Arizona. The project is currently in live development for an electrical generation facility of 640 MW.
+ Monte Villa Farms, Bothell, Washington. A 300,000 square foot office high tech facility including cleanroom, biotech, aeronautical and medical device manufacturing, as well as an onsite data center and Russell's Restaurant, a 4-star restaurant run by famous executive chef Russell Lowell (former private chef of Bill Gates).
+ Torreon Golf Club, Show Low, Arizona, a master-planned 1,700-acre, gated, golf course community in Arizona. The project includes 36 holes. A total of 1,700 lots or living units were sold and approximately $200 million in residential construction was completed.
+ Silverdale Hotel, Silverdale, Washington. A luxury 152 room waterfront convention center and resort hotel.
+ Bothell Data Services, LLC, Bothell, Washington, a family built and owned data center connected to the Seattle Metro-fiber ring which was acquired by a large technology company in 2014.
+ Cascade Plaza, Beaverton, Oregon, a 600,000 sq ft industrial & manufacturing facility on 25 acres of land. Cascade Plaza was the former manufacturing headquarters of Tyco/ Toy Company. The property was redeveloped and has since been sold.
+ River Run Apartments, North Bend, Washington. A 128-unit upscale apartment complex on the outskirts of Seattle's Eastside. The 5.91 acre complex features apartments and townhomes with garages, a luxurious clubhouse with barbecue pits, swimming pool & spa and event center.

Who We Are
Robert E. Hibbs
Robert E. Hibbs
Mr. Hibbs is active and well known in Seattle real estate circles and has provided legal representation for owners and for lenders, Currently he is an owner/developer for his own account. He served on the Board of Directors for the State of Washington NAIOP from 2001-2004. He also served as its Treasurer for three of those years.
Mr. Hibbs is a native of Montana. He graduated from the University of Montana in 1974 with a B.S. and a major in accounting. Mr. Hibbs (in addition to being a member of the Washington and Montana State Bar Associations) is a Certified Public Accountant, and he obtained an L.L.M. in Taxation from Boston University Law School, in 1978.
Mr. Hibbs graduated Seattle University Law School in 1978 and began a successful career as an attorney in Seattle. Until the summer of 2000, he was a full time and very active senior partner in one of Seattle’s premier legal firms. His legal practice focused on the areas of real estate acquisition, development and financing, corporate, business law and taxation.
Mr. Hibbs has worked both sides of the table in real estate financing. Lenders which have benefited from his legal representation include: American General Life, Seattle Trust and Savings Bank, Bank of California and West One Bank Corp. Several of Seattle’s better known real estate developers/owners have also had the benefit of Mr. Hibbs’ representation, though professional protocol suggests that we do not publicly disclose their names. He has worked for the last 30+ years on some of the Pacific Northwest’s premier real estate projects.
With a wealth of experience and exposure to opportunities over the years in a successful practice of real estate law, Mr. Hibbs’ career evolved from being a full time partner to “of Counsel” and now retired.
Rexford R. Hibbs
Rexford R. Hibbs, the son of Robert E. Hibbs, has been working alongside his father for many years, learning about real estate investing and development. Rexford graduated from Menlo College in Atherton, California with a degree in Business Management and Accounting. After graduation in 2014, he co-founded San Francisco’s first registered equity crowdfunding platform. He later created a secondary market to lfacilitate the sale and purchase of pre-IPO tech company shares.
Before launching his first startup in college, Rexford was working with the real estate investment committee at Marcus & Millichap, working closely with brokers and agents to procure promising investment opportunities in Northern California.
Rexford is a Seattle native with deep ties to the real estate and startup investment networks in Seattle, Sacramento, the San Francisco Bay Area, Phoenix, Hawaii and Southern California. Rexford works alongside his father developing and investing in real estate and technology companies. He is also very passionate, involved and dedicated to his his alma mater Menlo College, where he sat on the alumni council working on developing an in-house accelerator program for student founded ventures.
